WABGA WA Blind Golf Open Championships 2020
The 2020 WA Blind Golf Open was held as a Stableford event on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th of September at Wembley Golf Club. It was played in fine weather.
There were only 10 entrants as entry was restricted to residents of Western Australia. Interstate players were barred because of the COVID-19 virus. (Doug Burrows withdrew for medical reasons). It was a low-key no-frills event with the prize giving being deferred until the annual luncheon in November.
The winner was Malcolm Elliott on 74 points with caddie Chris Foley. Runner-up was Jenny McCallum on 70 points with caddie Ian McCallum. The Ladies Champion was Deanna Minciullo on 72 points with caddie Clarrie Minciullo.
